Hello Lane~

You are on the road again with your Little Plastic Trailer and Your Two Poodle Girls--How great that is!

Some place in New Mexico today? Check in with our wonderful New Mexico Friends and Tour Guides. We will all be available to help you plan your 2009 Kick Off of Coast To Coast Route 66 Tour for your group of Little Plastic Travel Trailer Owners and their friends.

Trip Goals: Travel Route 66 for Historical Adventures, Visit wineries for the pleasure of it and make new friends with the guests that can join you for various times through out the over all trip.

"You'll get your kicks on Route 66"......
See you soon, Sandy

Hello My Friend~ I hope your en route travels to our Class Reunion are going well. I look forward to seeing you and The Poodle Girl's on Friday along with many of our Arroyo Classmates. (Give me a A-R-R-O-Y-O...ARROYO...Yeah!!)
Throughout your wonderful military career you have lived and traveled extensively, "You have been everywhere man, you've been everywhere man" as the old song goes. Did you drink wine while living in those many lands? If so, how about sharing some experiences/knowledge of their wines, beers, cultures, customs and foods and of you cooking with their spices and condiments.
Oh, yes ! Condiments ! Did or do you now cook with wine? You say that you are currently drinking Boxed Wines. Many people do not realize that they have improved a great deal over the years and now have a improved bladder (how lucky is that box) and are being entered in Wine Competitions. Boxed Wines have been accepted in wine social circles for some time now. We have various ones at our Temecula Valley Wine Society functions often. There are three fully loaded shelves of Boxed Wines entered in our Riverside International Wine Competition that will be this weekend. There where over 1,700 bottles in our storage room last week, with more en route, just waiting to be opened so they could present their self to the reputable and recognized judges. The warehouse was a sight to see and maned by a hard working staff of volunteers that support this competition. I'll talk more about what goes on in a Wine Competition later.

Lane, since you also travel a great deal with your, as you call it, "Your Little Plastic Trailer"
I would have to think that a Wine Box works very well for you with all the bumps in the road, storage limitations and being able to reseal it after one or two glasses. I am sure that other travelers with rigs would also see the value of Boxed Wines. Which boxed Wines have you tried and what is your opinion of them? Red's? White's?
Welcome Aboard as we venture into the future. Sandy
