Hi Jacey~
I am so happy for you to have so many grandparents. Ask them lot's of questions about your family tree, family stories and history. It's your Heritage, too! Take lot's of notes and photographs. You will cherish them more everyday.

Jacey, I am so glad to hear that you enjoy your grandparents! And just how lucky you are to have two sets of them! I was born in Illinois, but we moved to California when I was 6 weeks old. I saw them about three times in my life while vacationing there.
I too, have fond memories of our short times together. One grandfather(My mother's father) played The Fiddle and he played for all the hoe-downs, barn raising's and Harvest events in his local coal mining and farmer's communities.

On my father's side, I have a old black and white photo taken at their Family Farm. In this photo of all the Relatives and Children, is a man in full dressed Indian Clothing, with head band and rifle. Wouldn't I love to know the story behind that one. However, I had heard that there is Cherokee in The Voyles Family. So, guess that's who he is.

Now, considering that my mother's maiden name was also Voyles before she married a Voyles, that both my mother and father lived in the same town, that the postman occasionally mixed their mail, that they had never met, but my mother's Aunt kept trying to introduce them and they each moved to two other town's as young adults on two separate occasions and kept running into each other and finally married after having proved that they are not related and that over the years some spelling was changed from Voyles to Voiles and back again.

Awh, life! Take the time you listen and learn from your grandparents your family history, family tree and relatives
connections. Their stories are charming and are your heritage also. Ask lot's of questions and make lot's of notes....and most of all, enjoy your fortune.
